Prospective Interns

GPSI -- "tomorrow's leaders today"

GPSI is a competitive application process. If you are selected by a participating agency, you will have the opportunity for a long-term (up to 21-months) placement with outstanding benefits.

At this time, GPSI applications are being accepted for the 2012 fall term.  The deadline for GPSI file completion to be eligible for first round interviews is 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Applicants selected for first round interviews will be contacted via e-mail by the GPSI office in early April.

Second round GPSI applications will be accepted for the 2012 fall term beginning on March 16, 2012.  The deadline for GPSI file completion to be eligible for second round interviews is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Applicants selected for second round interviews will be contacted via e-mail by the GPSI office in late May.

Online students, who are available to work in Springfield for the duration of the internship placement, are welcome to apply for the GPSI program. At this time, however, we do not have placements for online students located outside of the Springfield area.
