University Services

The UIS Office of Electronic Media serves the University community; providing live cable and web casts of University events, providing satellite downlinks for classroom use and for regional conferences. CD-R, DVD and multi-media authoring. Web page/site design and maintenance. Helping faculty produce documentary programs that support scholarly activities. Offering graduate assistantships and student work positions producing University educational and promotional programs. Producing TV commercials for University advertising campaigns and for the University's Sangamon Auditorium. Videotaping conferences, speakers and special events for distribution by the academic departments and units of the Center for State Policy and Leadership. Copying programs for classroom use, including VHS copies of international formats.
