32nd Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging
The Illinois Department on Aging is pleased to host the 32nd Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging and Disability at the Marriott Downtown Chicago. Please join us as leaders and experts in the fields of aging and disability as we share knowledge with colleagues in the network. This is our premier event, and we are extremely proud of this year’s content. It will focus heavily on everything you need to know with regard to managed care and other important initiatives. Not only will this conference provide you with up-to-date information from the intensive and breakout sessions but it will offer the opportunity for enjoyment. We are especially proud to be hosting a delegation from China this year. We have much to learn from this Republic about how it is handling its elderly population; China is home to more than 200 million age 60 and older! We have much to share with our guests about how Illinois structures services to deliver quality while facing ever-increasing demand. Please review the agenda and plan to join us this year for a conference that continues to gain prominence and expand its collaboration with partners and advocates.

Parking: The conference has negotiated a special parking rate at the self-parking garage The Row (50 East Ohio at the corner of Rush & Ohio). Cost is $26 daily, and $41 overnight. If you choose to valet park at the hotel, rates are $41 for up to six hours, and $56 for six to twenty-four hours. Please notify the front desk that you are with the conference in order to receive the discount rate.
Registration: Online registration is available through December 3, 2013. Beginning December 4, 2013 online registration will be closed. You are welcome to attend the conference by registering on-site at the Marriott Downtown Chicago. On-site registration requires payment of registration fee, either by check or credit card.
When registering on-line with a special payment code, please mark "check" as payment type and enter the code you were provided in the "Discount Code" box. If you do not enter the code at time of registration, you will be responsible for payment of the registration fee.
Please do not register multiple times. If you are having trouble or need something changed on your registration, please contact Elizabeth Thai. If you are paying by credit card, please have your credit card information available at time of registration.
To cancel your on-line reservation, please contact Elizabeth Thai, 217-206-7990 or email@example.com. Cancellations must be received by December 3, 2013 to receive a refund. If you do not pay at the time you register and then do not attend, you are still liable for the conference registration fee. All cancellation requests must be received by December 3, 2013.
