Training and Conferences

The Illinois Department of Aging is partnering with the UIS Institute for Legal, Legislative and Policy Studies to offer a range of in-services, conferences and online training.

The purpose of the partnership is to assist IDOA in its goal to help older people live independently in their own homes and communities by working with Area Agencies on Aging, Care Coordination Units, and certified community-based service providers.

Professional development opportunities are categorized into two groups: online training and conference attendance. See specific information at left.
