Mediation Training

Past presenters included:

Judge Steven Nardulli, Associate Judge Seventh Judicial Circuit since 1996, and Chief of the Family Division for the Sangamon County Circuit Court. He is a member of the faculty of the Illinois Advanced Judicial Academy and is on the Conference of Chief Judges Ad Hoc Committee.

Nancy Ford, J.D., Professor of Legal Studies at the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) is an Illinois attorney with experience in child custody cases. She teaches Family Law at UIS. She has been trained in conflict resolution and mediation by the Conflict Management, Inc., Harvard University Negotiation Project, and Illinois Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section.

Rhonda Fraser, Ph.D. is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Clocktower Therapy Center, LLC. She conducts individual, family, child and adolescent therapy; child custody evaluations; and consulting and training on issues related to her practice.

Diana Coates Koebler is the Executive Director of the Parent Place. She obtained her certification in Mediation through the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Ms. Coates Koebler specializes in mediation focused on child placement and welfare related issues.

Anne Draznin, J.D., Ph.D., holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis and Administration from St. Louis University, and is a licensed to practice law in Illinois and the District of Columbia. A former regional director of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), she was trained as a mediator when the profession was just beginning and was one of the early members of ISBA’s Special Committee on Dispute Resolution (now the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council). She is listed as an arbitrator and mediator with AAA, FMCS, ISLRB, IELRB, and National Mediation Board panels. She is a Professor Emerita of Legal Studies and Labor Relations at UIS, and served as chair of Legal Studies from 2001-2006. She is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, the AAA, the Labor and Employment Relations Association, sections of the ABA, and the Chicago Bar Association. She has taught dispute resolution and conducted mediation programs.
