The Downstate Illinois Innocence Project works with the Center for Wrongful Convictions at Northwestern University School of Law. It participates in the National Innocence Project Network, located at Cardozo Law School. A number of other Innocence Projects operate throughout the country, which can provide assistance to inmates outside of the state of Illinois.
