ASUDS-RI

There will be five ASUDS-RI trainings offered between October 2007 and June 2008 in conjunction with the DASA DUI Service Provider Orientation Program, coordinated by Jeri Frederick at the Institute for Legal, Legislative and Policy Studies. The ASUDS-RI training dates and locations are as follows:

? October 25, 2007 in Northbrook, Illinois
? January 24, 2008 in Springfield, Illinois
? March 6, 2008 in Lombard, Illinois
? April 24, 2008 in Naperville, Illinois
? June 12, 2008 in Northbrook, Illinois

These are informational training sessions, which include a comprehensive review and examination of the ASUDS-RI, and a discussion of the ASUDS-RI’s impact on DUI assessment. Additionally, there is ample opportunity to learn to administer and score the ASUDS-RI. Each Illinois Licensed DUI Facility which employs an Illinois Certified DUI Evaluator who completes the training, receives a copy of the ASUDS-RI CD-Rom. Only one ASUDS-RI CD-Rom will be distributed to each agency.

Each training session is from 9:00am until 12:00pm. There is a $60.00 fee per participant for attendance to an ASUDS-RI training session, and participants must pre-register. All participant registrations must be received by Jeri Frederick no later than 10 business days prior to the training.
