Tuition Wavier Taxability Information

The value of your GPSI tuition waiver may be subject to federal and state income tax. If hired, you will receive information from the UIS Payroll Office to help you determine what portion, if any, of the waiver should be considered taxable income and whether or not it will be necessary to withhold additional taxes from your paycheck.  At this time, tuition waiver in excess of $5250 is subject to federal and state income tax.
