Annie Thompson

"As an intern for the IL Environmental Protection Agency, I amassed wonderful experiences and made valuable contacts that continue to boost my career. My supervisor always treated me as a co-worker rather than as an intern, and she encouraged me to get involved with projects that would build a strong resume. As a result of the contacts I made as an intern, I was offered a job in the Governor's office. Without GPSI, I would not be where I am - in a fast-paced, high-profile job with a master's degree to boot! Annie Thompson, Press Assistant, Office of the Governor
